So I spoke to a computer repair shop who says that it's probably the power supply or the battery, both of which are very fixable. I spoke to Dell who says it's probably the motherboard and all you have to do is buy a new one *insert eye-roll here*
Honestly, I am feeling entirely fed-up with dealing with this and want to just buy a new computer and be done with it. But I'll see if we can't fix this one easily. In any event, I'm useless to work at school today, so I'm going to go to Costco, buy some milk and orange juice and CDs hopefully. Buy some vodka at the LCBO. Go home and make myself a very large screwdriver. Then try to work again.
Why does this have to happen when I'm trying to write two papers in as many days?

Anyway, I found myself amusing and thought you might too.
Er... and the moral of the story is "good luck"?
