私は。。。だれ？

Today they rolled out the new public computer software thingummy. It doesn't involve many changes on the front end, although there is one MAJOR one where people have to go to the printer to release the job now instead of it being automatically released. There's another smaller one where you get a dollar of credit and it looks like it's part of the funds you have on the card. We had one approaching-irate member get very upset that she didn't get her 10 free pages because it showed $1.65 when she logged on and now it's just $.65, but that was just because the 10 free are now just a dollar added to the account. It was easier to just add the dollar to her account. The back end of the software involves significant changes, some good and some less than ideal. It's going to be a learning curve.

The cat update is that Algazel is doing much better. In exchange, Episcopus is sulking about how she has to eat the boring old food instead of the presumably tastier new food. I confirmed that this was indeed not a medical issue with HER but sulking by putting down tuna for them and she was all over that nonsense. So her appetite isn't off; she's just grumpy and hunger striking about the food that has been perfectly acceptable for all 6.5 years of her life. Our cats are so absurdly dumb, I can't even...

Also, I need to go through my icons and replace some of my old lj ones with ones that are more relevant to me now ~20 years later >_>
